Garlic Brown Sugar Carrots

When it comes to side dish recipes at Thanksgiving there are a few that we all make every single meal, things like these Garlic Brown Sugar Carrots are one of those recipes just like the turkey or green bean casserole, it’s a dish that everyone expects and looks forward to!

We like to make these really any time of the year but they’re one of our Thanksgiving tradition recipes. These could even be made in the slow cooker too!

Garlic Brown Sugar Carrots

My boys love this dish because it’s almost like a dessert, the carrots are sweet and delicious with the brown sugar and garlic added along with creamy butter. Most people would agree that there are usually leftovers from the Thanksgiving meal but when you make this dish there’s rarely any left! They go very quickly!

How to Make Garlic Brown Sugar Carrots

Ingredients You Need

  • 2 pounds baby carrots
  • ½ cup butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 TBSP Garlic, Minced
  • parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a medium saucepan add the butter and cook over medium heat until melted.  Add the brown sugar and remove from heat.
  2. In a baking dish add the carrots and drizzle the butter mixture over the top.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until carrots are tender. Garnish with parsley and enjoy!
