Soda Cracker Candy Bars

December 23, 2015   |   1 Comment

Last weekend we had my Husband’s family Christmas at his parents house.  We ended up sitting around the kitchen table talking and soon the cookbooks came out.  Old cookbooks, from his Grandma.  Cookbooks with recipes that I’d never heard of let alone made.  I was fascinated by these recipes from the past, I could imagine his Grandma making these for his Mother and her sisters and brothers.  I LOVE this type of thing.

I decided to pull out a couple of my favorites and try making them and giving them my own twist.  Like These Soda Cracker Candy Bars, they sounded so simple and delicious!  I had an idea to make them just the way I would want them.  Check out the recipe below and be sure to stay tuned for a few more Recipes from the Past.
