  1. Lemon Fudge bars
Saw a post on Facebook while on a road trip. Stopping to the closest grocery store for all ingredients!🍋

  2. Doubled the recipe and used a loaf pan at 350 for one hour and ten minuets then cooled and glazed. My intention was a lemon cake loaf and that is exactly what I got. Way better than Starbucks!

  3. Yummy!! Made them on Valentines Day. Cut out 2″ hearts and glazed them completely. Beautiful and delicious. They were a big hit.

  4. I always make these in the late fall/winter time when my meyer lemon tree produces lemons and this is a great recipe for a lemon dessert. I always follow the directions exactly and they always turn out perfect. Chocolate brownies don’t rise and either do these so I’m not sure why everyone is getting so weird about this recipe not having any baking soda or baking powder! Thanks for a great Lemon dessert.

  5. I have just made this recipe. It tastes awesome. Thank you for sharing this amazing recipe with us.everyone should try this.

  6. I made these on Saturday they were so delicious. They were just a tiny bit dense. So next time I will add a little baking powder. Overall very simple to make and taste great. Will do them again.

  7. They taste amazing! But they are really flat and I was wondering if we needed to add anything else to them?

    • Hi,I’m going to try these today and after reading about them being flat by so many people I think I will add a 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda after seeing baking powder in a lot of other brownie recipes.

  8. These brownies were very tasty, but I should’ve followed the “doubling” recipe – I didn’t realize how small amount this recipe makes – At any rate, they turned out great and were delicious! Just need to double the recipe next time for when I have guests….Thanks for sharing!

  9. I made these for a coworker’s birthday today and they were delicious! Looked just like the picture, dense like a brownie. I made a blueberry compote to top them with. Everybody loved them! Had many requests for the recipe. Yummy!

  10. Ever since I pinned this recipe, I have made these at least 5 times and they have turned out delightful. Thanks a lot for sharing this recipe.

  11. I made these tonight & even though they tasted great they were very flat. What did I do wrong? I followed the recipe to the T.
    Thanks

  12. I followed the recipie carefully and the batter did not rise and had a cornbread texture. I substituted Splenda for sugar.

  13. These look simple to make but really yummy. I have a ton of ripe lemons on my Meyer tree right now. Have any of you ever tried freezing this recipe? Does it freeze well?

  14. I used Limes as they were all i had, they weren’t as fluffy as yours maybe S.R. flour would be better. The Lime was nice though.

  15. These look amazing. I’m a lemon fan too. The great thing is that they look moist and not dried out at all. Thanks for sharing. I’ll be making these very soon.

  16. I made these at Easter and I’m making them today for the second time for my bookclub. They are delicious. Love lemon. Keep bringing the lemon recipes!

  17. Amazing brownies! I almost love these more than traditional chocolate. A keeper in our house! I LOVE LEMON! Thanks for sharing 🙂 Happy Easter!

  18. I just made this recipe after finding it on Pinterest. I followed it to a T, but it only filled half of my 8 x 8 pan and it’s sticky and greasy, it also stuck to the parchment paper. Is there something missing?

    • Important: You have to grease the parchment paper first so the food does not stick.

  19. These look amazing! Pardon my ignorance, however, I live in France and I’m not entirely sure how much a stick of butter is? Is it simply a block of butter – ie. approx 250g? Thanks! Gillian

  20. In the site has been discussed about the lemon brownies and all dishes so that we can know that. When we will connect in this blogger then we can find different type recipe we can able to know that regarding site.

  21. I baked these today ( I have been baking for over 40 years ) and though the flavor is very good ;the height of the brownie was half the size of the pictures – barely 1 inch and denser not as cakey looking as the photos . There is no leavening so I'm wondering about the accuracy of the photos ?

    • I have had some people have that problem, I'm not really sure why. You can click on the “source” above and see where I got the recipe and it doesn't call for any leavening. The pictures I took are VERY close up, but I would say they were about 1 1/2 inches thick. I would be happy to make them again and and see how them come out.

  22. I just made these for our Summer Solstice celebration tonight. I sprinkled fresh blueberries in the batter and they came out perfect!

  23. Do you use any baking soda or baking powder? Mine weren't near as thick as yours and I noticed in the recipe that it didn't list either of those. Thanks for sharing!!!

  24. I'm not much of a lemon fan…my Mother would love these though…I'm wondering if I could use pineapple extract & make a pineapple glaze for it…*wheels spinning* going to def give these a try!!

  25. I added strawberries to both the batter and the glaze – also poked holes in the brownies and added glaze when they were still warm so they were extra gooey. Yum!! And lovely pale pink shade!

  26. I just made these and they were heaven! The only thing is mine didn't come out as thick as yours in the picture 🙁

  27. Yay!! Lemon desserts are wonderful, thank you for sharing. Now following!

    Hugs, Tanya 🙂

  29. These look so good! Quick question…how did you get the link at Naptime to start working!??! Thanks so much! XO, Aimee

  30. Oh my gosh these look delicious! I'm doing a lemon project on my blog. Making 33 lemon recipes before 3.3.13 from turning 33 this year, its been fun and lemons are so yummy! Definitely going to add this to my list!

  31. Chrissy I am loving this recipe, I love lemon treats, I will be bookmarking this, and tweaking it with my whole wheat flour!

  32. I love making lemon bars. I have a ton of recipes for bars because my family loves them so much. I mostly use the Martha Stewart recipe. This recipe is similar. I'm going to give these a try. They look so delicious in the photos. Thanks for sharing. I'll let you know how they turn out. Probably make them this weekend.
